Are Christian Zionists anti-Semitic? What a great oxymoron…anti-Semitic Zionists.
It isn’t such a crazy question really…it all depends on their doctrinal stand regarding the so called Rapture. Please bear with me, I am not knocking Christian Zionists, I simply would like to place a few facts before them and other dispensationalists; whom I think fall, unwittingly, into this same trap…and pray that the Holy Spirit of God gives them ‘eyes to see’….
It all has to do with the teaching of those “Left behind” after the so called Rapture, be it Pre, Mid or Post tribulation…
Let us take the worst case scenario; that being the pre-trib Rapture theory. According to their theory, before the seven years of tribulation start, Jesus will come down from heaven, and secretly meet the dead and the living in Christ and return to heaven with them for seven years …leaving the ‘left behind’ Jews (and all non believers) behind to battle it out with the anti-Christ and the Beast in the great tribulation on earth.
It is this arrogant teaching that the ones who are ‘grafted into Israel’, The Church, will be saved (having been raptured to safety in heaven) whilst the ones ‘responsible’ for the crucifixion of the Christ and rejection of Him go through this time of great tribulation in order to change their thinking and accept Jesus as their messiah. A form of trial by fire…Remember too that they also claim that the Holy Spirit of God will be taken up with them in this so called Rapture.
Think about it clearly…with no Holy Spirit present on earth …how can anyone possibly come to the knowledge of the saving grace of Jesus Christ ?
I have had this discussion with many Christian Zionists and those of the Schofield school of dispensationalism, and I have been called all the heretical name imaginable…
The dispensationalists draw their theory of varying time spans in heaven from this word given by Paul to the congregation at Thessalonica…
I Thes 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
(But to where we are not told here)
…Please don’t get me wrong, we shall meet the Lord in the air; but the scriptures do not tell us that He will take us back to heaven, but Holy Scripture does definitely tell us that He is coming to earth one more time, with His armies (Not His elect) as King of Kings and Lord of Lords
Rev 19:11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
19:12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself.
19:13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
19:14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
19:15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
19:16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
If Jesus is coming to Rapture His Church …it DEFINITELY is not recorded by John in Revelation…One would think that such a monumental occasion would at least have a mention…
JUDE 1:14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
Holy Scripture tells us only of Jesus returning to earth again ONCE…With His armies from Heaven and the saints He has met in the air on his return as portrayed by Paul…the Holy Scriptures, Bible and Torah tell us that we will go through wrath on earth…but God will spare us, as he did the Israelites from Egypt and their 40 years in the desert…as He guided and spared Lot …as he guided Noah…and not a hair of their heads was harmed. In this period we will be spreading the gospel to those Jews and the unsaved instead of parking off in heaven for seven years …It will be the most awesome thing that we will ever experience…so why do so many wish to escape it? Have they no faith in God to protect them and keep them safe here on earth?
Matt 24:21 “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
24:22 “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.
Now the ELECT in the passage above are all those who have been elected or called by God….simply put, all the believers…more simply put…you and me. These are not Jews whom God has ‘Left Behind’ to suffer untold hell on earth, as is taught by many dispensational false teachers ….to think this, is gross anti-Semitism …Think about it …are you spreading a false gospel?
JN 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
There is no better time than right now to spread the Gospel…please pass this message on…
